Academic Policies
Lincoln College maintains rigorous academic standards and transparent policies to foster fairness and integrity.
Attendance requirements
Students are expected to attend all lectures, tutorials, and practicals. Absence beyond 85% may result in disqualification from exams.
Grading system & GPA calculation
Grades are awarded on a 4-point scale. GPA is calculated as the weighted average of grade points earned in all courses.
Academic probation & dismissal
Students with a GPA below 1.5 are placed on probation. Continued poor performance may lead to dismissal.
Examination rules & retake policies
All exams must be taken as scheduled. Retakes are allowed only for valid reasons and require approval.

Plagiarism and cheating are serious offenses and can result in disciplinary action, including expulsion.

Students are expected to uphold values of respect, responsibility, and community participation. Disciplinary procedures ensure fairness and support rehabilitation when possible.
Respect for staff, students, and property
All students must treat staff, peers, and college property with respect. Vandalism or disrespectful behavior is not tolerated.

Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

Students are expected to dress appropriately and follow all behavioral guidelines as outlined in the student handbook.

Emergency procedures
In case of emergency, follow the posted evacuation routes and instructions from security personnel.
Fire safety and drills
Fire drills are conducted each semester. Know the location of fire extinguishers and exits.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to campus security immediately.
ID card & access control policy
Always carry your student ID. Access to certain areas is restricted to authorized personnel only.
